PartecipanteEarly progression in ARC Raiders often comes down to knowing where to look. While normal containers can provide useful equipment, locked key rooms are designed to give players a stronger reason to explore dangerous areas. For anyone hunting ARC Raiders BluePrints and better weapons, these locations can be extremely valuable.
The challenge is deciding when to use a key. Some rooms are close to busy routes, while others are positioned near extraction points or contain powerful ARC enemies. Learning the risks behind each location is just as important as learning where the door itself is. With the right planning, U4N players can approach these areas with much greater confidence.
Why Key Rooms Matter
A successful key-room run can improve several parts of your inventory at once. Depending on the location, you may find weapon crates, ammunition, gun parts, explosives, tactical equipment, or higher-rarity loot.
However, the rewards are balanced by risk. A key may only give you one opportunity to access a particular room, so wasting it during a chaotic raid can be costly. Keep important keys in your Safe Pocket and wait for a suitable opportunity whenever possible.
The Confiscation Room
At Blue Gate, the Confiscation Room is hidden inside the Reinforced Reception building. Use the interior zipline to descend, then follow the yellow arrows towards the lower level.
The room is particularly attractive for weapon hunters because it has two connected areas containing breach-and-search containers and ammunition crates. The weapon roll potential makes it a useful target when you are trying to improve your early equipment.
The downside is player traffic. Other Raiders may already be heading towards the same location, so do not assume you will have the room to yourself. Move carefully, listen for nearby movement, and be ready to fight or retreat.
A Quick Weapon Opportunity
The Patrol Car Key offers one of the simpler ways to target a specific weapon container. At the Traffic Tunnel, take the central stairs down and use the zipline to reach the armoured vehicle.
The bright warning light on the rear of the car identifies the weapon box. Because the reward is easy to identify, you can spend less time searching and more time planning your escape.
The location is still exposed, however. A quick loot does not necessarily mean a safe loot. If you hear footsteps or nearby gunfire, consider whether the weapon is worth the risk of staying in the area.
Useful Weapons at Testing Annex
The Testing Annex in Dam Battlegrounds is another practical destination. The building sits towards the southeastern edge of the map, and the western entrance provides access to the first floor.
Continue down the hallway to find the locked room. Inside, players can discover weapon parts, grenade canisters, and level-2 firearms such as the Rascal 2 and Renegade 2.
The location offers a useful balance between reward and danger, although the cost of unlocking it should be considered. Players with limited resources may want to make sure the potential loot justifies spending the key.
Watch the Water Treatment Area
The Dam Surveillance Key leads towards the Water Treatment Control building near the southwestern central section of the map.
This area can provide a green rarity weapon case, red lockers, ammunition crates, and lethal grenades. It is a strong option when you want a broader collection of combat supplies rather than one guaranteed weapon.
The main concern is its proximity to a popular extraction point. Raiders often pass through areas like this while preparing to leave, so opening the room can put you in the path of players who are already carrying valuable loot.
The High-Risk Town Hall Run
Buried City’s Town Hall is arguably the most demanding target on this list. The lower open section leads to a large looting area spread across multiple floors.
Weapon crates, ammunition boxes, lockers, and valuable purple loot make it highly appealing. Unfortunately, the building can also become a battlefield.
Players must deal with potential PvP encounters as well as hostile Bastion and Bombarder units. Entering without enough healing or ammunition is a common mistake. If you bring a Town Hall Key, prepare for a serious fight and know where you intend to extract before you unlock the room.
The Hidden Bridge Weapon Crate
There is also a useful option for players who have not found any keys. From Raider Outpost East, travel towards East Broken Bridge and continue to the very end.
Face the wrecked vehicles and carefully step off the corner. Hold the jump button while falling to catch the hidden ledge beneath the bridge structure.
The resulting alcove contains a weapon crate and a medical/ammunition case. It requires no key, making it a practical early farming route for players who are still building their stash.
Make Every Unlock Count
Before unlocking any key room, make sure your weapon is loaded and your health is full. The sound of the door opening can alert nearby players, so it is better to be ready for a fight before you turn the key.
A deployable barricade can also be placed across the entrance immediately after unlocking the room. This gives you additional protection while searching containers and reduces the chance of another player immediately rushing through the doorway.
Free starter loadouts are another useful tool. They allow you to practise routes and gather equipment without risking your strongest armour. After learning the area, you can return with a more suitable loadout when the potential reward is worth the risk.
For players who want more flexibility when preparing for raids, cheap ARC Raiders Coins can be another option to consider alongside normal progression. The important thing is still to use each key intelligently, because good preparation often matters more than simply having expensive equipment.
